Break out the painters tape and get hands-on!
Have students work in pairs to apply tape lines to a volunteer (or themselves) to represent the sagittal, frontal, and transverse planes. This visual and kinesthetic approach makes it easy to see how the body is divided!
3. Life-Sized Floor Body Planes Game 🏃♂️➡️
Use colored tape on the classroom floor to create a giant sagittal, frontal, and transverse plane grid.
Call out directions like “Step anterior!” or “Move along the frontal plane!” and have students physically follow along. It’s a great movement-based learning activity that reinforces terminology in action!
